In 1949 a poet named Ogden Nash wrote several poems for each movement that are recited by a narrator at every concert ever since. Each movement of The Carnival of the Animals represents a certain animal and has a unique theme that represents the animal in question. His sense of humor and his love of many adventures inspired him to compose The Carnival of the Animals which he composed while he was on tour but unfortunately it was never performed in his lifetime because he was afraid that the public image as a serious composer would suffer from his creative chink in his armor and he was also composing his third symphony "Organ Symphony" at the same time and he finished both pieces of music on the same year in 1886. Camille Saint-Saens (1835-1921) composed it while he was on a concert tour in February 1886. The Carnival of the Animals is a humorous musical suite with fourteen movements that represent a certain animal. The Yo-Yo Flamingo is juggling lots of yo-yo's at a carnival while Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny accompany him on their pianos.
